phantas: (down)
It's 4AM, I have yet to watch a single episode of Battlestar Galactica, I'm clearly not cut out for a career in conspiracy and I ate too many popcorns (mine flopped, Heavy's were made of win).

Earlier today, taking the opportunity that I was in the city's center, I passed by Body Shop. The Body Shop carries a Vitamin C product that works wonders in calming and helping to heal my skin on those bad days. Spring is here and I have had quite a few of those so there I was, calmly walking through the center, taking in the evening sun, listening to my podcasts...

... I am looking at the shelves, I signal to one employee I'm looking around, I'm lost in thoughts...

- (...)
- Oh, I'm looking around
- (...) - I shift the headphones - [...] your face!
- ...excuse me?
- The skin surrounding your lips, it's so dry! Well, all of it, but particularly that area!
- Erm, yes, I have very dry skin. Atopic, in fact...

She's about to ask me if I moisturise but the look on my face stops her short: yes, I am quite the expert. And I end up having to pause the iPod, leave my state of peace and quiet and enter a conversation about pharmaceutical oily creams...

Anyone that knows me well enough knows I have little issues with chatting with strangers. And there is the matter of sale techniques and all (though, advertising ROC products?!). But being interrupted with an expression of shock regarding the state of the skin in my face and performing the explanation for the empth time... *sighs*

Shocked dentist as well, actually. I must have reached the "scare little children" level then.
